The MJB Modular Junction Box is designed for use together with OpenBus™ control boxes (CB6S, CB16 and CB20).

The MJB makes it possible to connect multiple handsets, attendant controls or it is also possible to use the MJB as a control unit for 3rd party products such as Out of Bed Detection, USB charger, Under Bed Light etc.

MJB with UBL (ext.)
The MJB is an MJB with 3 different options, Under Bed Light (UBL), switch input S1 which can be used for an external switch, and switch input S2 to be used for Out of Bed Detection (OOBD).

UBL: The MJB with Under Bed light (UBL) is a simple solution to prevent falling accidents and make the patient feel safe. The UBL makes it easy for the patient to find their way back to the bed at night without disturbing the other patients.
The MJB has an external LED cable (0964135) which is connected to Port 5.
The external LED cable makes it more flexible to use the UBL. It can be moved from side to side of the bed or it can be placed at the foot end of the bed.

External Switch (S1): It is possible for the customer to connect a switch directly to the MJB. This could be used with a customised switch or control.

OOBD (S2): The Out of Bed Detection option is used when an notification is needed when the patient leaves the bed. The OOBD is used in combination with a 3rd party product.
